THE AUTHOR
Roger Williams was born in
1940. After school, he joined the de Havilland Aircraft
Company. He completed
his apprenticeship & studies & built two Ford-based "specials" before family & career interests
took pride
of place for many years. Later Roger started his own consultancy business, which allowed him
to restore
numerous MGBs, a Triumph TR6 & a Triumph Stag & to write three MGB books. He retired in
2000 & has
since moved to France and written four Triumph TR restoration books. Roger installed a Rover
V8 engine
in one of his own MGBs.
