About Ron Fournier & Fournier Enterprises..

Ron Fournier's career as a metal fabricator spans 40 years and across the custom automotive, motorcycle & aircraft industries.

His career began with Holman and Moody in 1964, and since that time racing greats such as Roger Penske, A.J. Foyt, Kar Kraft and Bob Sharp Racing have all utilized Ron's unique skills to transform metal into various components for their championship-winning race cars. General Motors, Ford and Chrysler have also contracted for his fabrication and training services.

In the mid-Seventies, Ron founded Race Craft, which soon developed a reputation as one of the finest metal fabrication shops in the country. Ron and his wife, Susan, have written two books now considered essential references in the automotive metal work field: Metal Fabricator's Handbook and Sheet Metal Handbook. In 1984 Metal Fabricator's Handbook received a Moto Award, the highest achievement in automotive journalism.

In 1991, Ron and his family founded Fournier Enterprises, a custom metal fabrication company with a variety of business divisions including full-size custom built vehicles, Metal Fabrication Workshops, instructional videos, tool design and development as well as a line of hand fabricated vintage racing models. Ron is honored to have two of his models, "The Fuel Injection Special" and "The John Zink Special" on display at the Indianapolis Speedway Hall of Fame Museum next to the original classics. Recent shop projects include a 1938 Bugatti body build, a one-off aluminum bodied roadster and a full schedule of workshops, and industry show appearances.

Through the years Ron has worked diligently to promote the craft of metal work and has placed an emphasis on education and training so that the art to which he has dedicated his life's work will continue to thrive for many years to come.

Nicole Fournier-Osborne is responsible for business operations, marketing, tool development and keeping the boys in line at Fournier Enterprises. Nicole is Ron and Sue's daughter and shares their passion for the craft. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the metal working trade and automotive industry, a B.S. in Marketing and an M.B.A. to the family business. Dan Fournier is an integral part of the family business as well. He is an accomplished metal fabricator and welder, among other things. He teaches welding and other metal fab skills to students who attend our workshops. He also helps with technical & equipment questions on the phone lines and e-mail.

Dan's experience also makes him an excellent part of our tool and equipment development team. He's our "Hey, we can make that better / simpler / easier" guy. He's part trouble shooter, part engineer and 100% committed
